Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day! I love spending lots of time on preparations and making it look delicious. Here’s banana-and-oat pancakes, coconut oil, agave syrup, cinnamon, fruit, frozen berries, freshly made green juice and ginger water. As well as my current read, “A Wild Sheep Chase” by Haruki Murakami.
I’ve been waiting all year for spring (almost), so that I can start my food garden. I tried growing some herbs and vegetables last year, but nothing survived. Mostly because I hadn’t read about it, but this year I hope I’m prepared! These five books include everything I need to know for nordic conditions, so if I fail yet again… Well, then there’s something wrong with me. From the bottom: “The Great Organic Garden Book”, “Simple Kitchen Garden in 1-2-3”, “Free Food” (well, this one is actually about food I can find in nature, and therefore don’t need to grow myself), “The Vegetable Garden” and “The Herb Garden”. On top of the books is a box with seeds and a seed starter. Fingers crossed!
